Note on QOF data

Last Modified 01/07/2021 16:43:46 Share this page

Prevalence is defined as the proportion of the population who are found to have a particular condition at a given point in time.

The prevalence analyses presented in this section are based on data obtained from the general practice Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF). Completeness and accuracy of data capture for QOF is known to vary between practices. The data on recorded prevalence presented in these analyses will therefore reflect completeness of data capture as well as the true underlying prevalence of the condition.
