Blackpool’s Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy

The Blackpool Health and Wellbeing Board have produced a Joint Local Health and Wellbeing strategy for the period 2024 to 2028. The aim of the strategy is to drive change to help improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Blackpool and reduce the gap in health outcomes between Blackpool and England as a whole. It has identified a number of metrics and milestones to work towards. These will be monitored biannually and reported on to the Health and Wellbeing Board. These are grouped around the four priorities (identified below).

 The Health and Wellbeing Board, which has members ranging from our local authority, voluntary organisations and the emergency services, have chosen the following four key priorities:
